Literacy in Kouma Apoti: Our mothers have decided to return to school; it’s not too late for them to strengthen basic skills: reading, writing, and arithmetic—all essential tools for better participation in social, economic, and civic life.

The class, held for four hours a week, welcomed 30 motivated learners. At the end of a year of learning, a final assessment revealed a great success: 20 out of 30 validated their acquired skills. Beyond the skills acquired, this class fostered a spirit of solidarity and mutual support within the group. DZIDZO supports communities that wish to build more autonomous, educated, and inclusive communities.
