Advanced Health Strategy in Various Communities Mobile Consultation in Agou Kébo Agbladomé and Kovie Djéméke On November 21, 2021, as part of its mission to improve living conditions in rural areas, the DZIDZO Association organized a mobile consultation combined with a medication distribution, in partnership with local health services. This initiative is fully aligned with DZIDZO’s contribution to achieving the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), specifically:

• SDG 3: Good Health and Well-being, by promoting access to essential healthcare;

• SDG 1: Poverty Reduction, by reducing healthcare costs for vulnerable households;

• SDG 10: Reduced Inequalities, by bringing medical services closer to often marginalized rural populations.

This activity brought medical services closer to communities, which often face geographical isolation and a lack of adequate healthcare infrastructure. According to the World Health Organization, more than 50% of rural populations in sub-Saharan Africa have difficulty accessing basic healthcare, making this type of initiative particularly crucial.

A total of 168 people benefited from the activity, including:

• 112 women (67%)

• 56 men (33%)

• including elderly people, who are particularly vulnerable to chronic diseases.

The beneficiaries received:

• free medical consultations;

• targeted screenings, including for malaria, diabetes, ulcers, rheumatism, erysipelas, various infections, and blood pressure monitoring;

• practical advice on hygiene, prevention, and good health practices. These actions contribute directly to the early detection of diseases, the reduction of health complications, and the sustainable improvement of community health.
