One student, one tree

On June 01, 2022, the DZIDZO association is initiating an 'environmental protection' program at Flangadua elementary school, with the aim of raising children's awareness of environmental education and showing them the importance of planting and maintaining trees. the importance of planting and maintaining trees.

As June 01 is commemorated as National Tree Day, DZIDZO visited the Flangadua elementary school where the training took place. Questions and answers were exchanged with the children. Such was the case with little Josué in Cp2 class, who said: 'For a healthy body, we must take care of everything around us'.

As part of National Tree Day on June 1, 2023, the DZIDZO Association visited the village of Flangadua to monitor the seedlings planted.

We learned that the village goats were eating the plants, which explains the stunted growth and death of some of them. In all, we counted 85 plants. The dead plants were replaced, those progressing well were watered and protected, and those lagging behind were also protected and watered.
